Rules for all Sip & Stroll Events
- Alcohol may be purchased only from restaurants/establishments within the area designated for the particular event (see particular event page for map and participating restaurants).
- No other alcohol may be brought onto or be consumed on the site (individuals may not bring their own alcohol to the event, or have open containers of alcohol on site at any other time), and in no event may alcohol purchased for Sip & Stroll be taken into garages or outside the designated event area. We reserve the right to have security check coolers — under VA ABC law, you cannot bring in your own alcohol.
- Participating restaurants/establishments will serve alcohol for Sip & Stroll in clear plastic cups with the establishment’s logo.
- When purchasing the alcohol, tell your server that you are purchasing for Sip & Stroll.
- Purchased alcohol may not be transferred to a different container; it must be consumed in the cups provided.
- Alcohol allowed only during the designated event hours (see particular event page for details).
Violations are subject to punishment. Fairfax County police and private security will patrol Sip & Stroll events.
