Originally from Catlett, VA, Sarah Moyers is a jazz vocalist and arranger. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies at George Mason University where she studied under Dr. Darden Purcell, and took second place in the 2018 Ella Fitzgerald Jazz Vocal Competition. She has shared the stage with artists such as the New York Voices, John Pizzarelli, and Patti LuPone, and has and appeared at venues including historic Washington D.C. jazz club Blues Alley. Sarah recently returned to the area after serving as a vocalist for the United States Air Force Band for over six years, during which time she toured throughout the East Coast, West Coast, Arizona, Texas, the Hawaiian island chain as well as Malaysia and Australia.
